Our Next Club Meeting Will Be Saturday July 11, 2026.

We held our June club meeting in the club house at the John Nichol’s Field. President Bill Barlow started the meeting precisely on time at 10:08 AM. We said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mark Novak gave a treasurer’s report, we have money in the bank. We are all glad to see Mark back and looking healthy. It was touch and go there for a while after the Social Security Administration officially declared Mark dead. But now he has government paperwork officially declaring him alive.

Mike Sandlin said we have 31 current paid members.

We are postponing our next meeting from Saturday, July 4 until Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Bill Barlow is going to Oshkosh on July 20, 2026.

The Ugly Raptors flying powered paragliders flew in the morning.

Jody Morgan donated a tractor to the club so we can mow around the hangers and the airfield. Glenn Frehafer and Bill Barlow are working on the transmission on the tractor. The tractor is located in hanger #15.

Larry Schultz now has the cowling installed on his Kit Fox project build.

Al Sader is working on the transponder for his plane.

Gene Kendall is finished working on the trailer handling our fire equipment. We have 275 gallons of water and a gasoline powered water pump. Note of caution: the new Harbor Freight gasoline powered water pump (currently out of warranty) is leaking oil and must be refilled every 10 minutes of operation.

Oscar Gonzales won an absolutely huge amount of money in the raffle, $24 with $23 going to the club.
